Parents,

 

I am attaching a flyer about a parent night for rising 6^th grade parents for Lovinggood Middle School.  They are also asking for input about what questions you would like answered at this parent night.  Please see the information below from the 6^th grade counselor:

 

The spring semester marks a very important turning point in your child's academic life. This is their last semester in elementary school—next school year you both will be venturing into the world of middle school. Whether this idea is exciting, or frightening (or perhaps a little bit of both), we are sure you have quite a few questions. In preparation for our parent information night on Tuesday, March 24, we would like to hear from you. As you and your child prepare for middle school, what questions are forefront on your mind?  What concerns do you have or what have you heard and would like some clarification? Please e-mail all questions to 6^th Grade School Counselor, Katie Bower at kathleen.bower@cobbk12.org, by Monday, March 9. Questions will be compiled and answered during our parent information night. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like a copy of the questions and answers, please indicate so in an e-mail. We look forward to meeting you soon.
