Parents-

 

We’re using an online conference sign up, however, we are being asked to have parents sign a conference form to insure everyone understands the conference purpose. The information from the county that we need you to know about conferences is below (please respond to this email and it will serve as affirmation you understand):

 

 

Dear Parents:

 

The purpose of parent-teacher conferences is to have a better understanding between parents and teachers so we may better work together to help your child.

 

Parent-teacher conferences are being scheduled after early dismissal from October 21 - 25, 2013.  All elementary students, including kindergarten, will be dismissed two hours early on these days.  Some conferences may be requested at times other than these afternoons in order to schedule every parent.

 

Each parent-teacher conference will last for a period of twenty minutes.  Please be prompt, as these conferences will be scheduled consecutively.  Unless your child is requested to participate in the conference, you will need to make appropriate arrangements for your child during your scheduled time.

 

As a reminder, this is the only conference scheduled this year. You are encouraged to request conferences as you see the need.

 

You might like to do some pre-conference planning by preparing some questions pertaining to your child and his/her performance in school. Please provide any topics you would like to discuss during the conference.

 

 

For conferences, most everyone has signed up online at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DA5A92FA2FA7-brazile . If you haven’t by Wednesday at noon, I’ll pick a time slot and send it home for you. If it doesn’t work for you, just let me know what time would be best and I’ll try and work it out.

 

If you need a reminder of your time slot, feel free to ask.
