Parents-
Please remember that there is no school tomorrow (Thursday), Friday, Monday, or Tuesday due to furlough days. I guess we could have class, but I wouldn’t be getting paid and that takes the fun out of it for me. So, we’ll miss out on that instructional time to balance the budget. Regardless, we’ll meet again at Kemp next Wednesday. The kids have their normal homework (Reading Logs, Word Studies, and IXL math skill work) but it’s stretched over this partial week and next. We’ll have our normal assessments next Friday, along with our Civil War test (projects are due Friday too – check progress on Synergy). The Forces unit test is next Thursday. Based on the effort in their project work, I’m confident they’ll do well. Next Friday also marks the end of the first quarter. Report cards will go home during conferences.
