Parents-

 

I hope all of the kids have recovered from Rock Eagle. I almost have. Between my bleeding ear drum while on the trip and my swollen ankle reaction from my wasp stings, I’m having a hard time bouncing back. But I’m alive and working.

 

Thank you to our volunteer chaperones, Mrs. Glover, Mrs. DeFoor, Mrs. Rice, Mrs. Clark, Mr. Newberry, Mr. Mangram, and Mr. Cox. They kept our kids safe and organized. I appreciate their time and help.

 

If you haven’t had a chance to see the Rock Eagle blog, it’s still up and available.

 

We’re working on Iowa testing each morning this week. Please make sure the kids have sharpened #2 pencils and lots of rest.

 

 

A note from our PTA:

While our PTA membership drive has once again been a wonderful success, our ultimate goal has always been that every child at Kemp be represented by a member of the PTA.  As you can see below, we do not have any classrooms with 100% membership yet.  We would like to ask that all of you send an email reminder to your parents asking them to join PTA if they have not done so.  Membership is $6.00 per member or you can join at one of our membership levels.  The membership application can be found online or they can join via the PTA website (www.kemppta.com).  The classes that reach 100% membership will receive a pizza party from the PTA.  A few classes are really close so please encourage your parents to join!
